Safety: Built Into Everything We Make

At Alum-A-Pole®, safety isn’t a feature—it’s our foundation. From the very first product designed in 1980 to today’s fully engineered scaffolding systems and siding brakes, every tool we manufacture is built with one mission in mind: to keep tradespeople safe while they work at height.

The Industry’s First OSHA-Approved 50’ System

When Carl Anderson, a siding contractor, saw how dangerous traditional wood-built scaffolding and pump jacks could be, he knew there had to be a better way. That’s why he invented the Alum-A-Pole Scaffolding System, and with it, ushered in a new era of elevated jobsite safety.

Working directly with OSHA and their lead compliance officer, Bill Simms, Carl helped establish the first scaffolding system approved for a 50-foot shoulder working height—a groundbreaking improvement over the then-standard 30 feet. It’s still the gold standard today, recognized across the industry for its durability, engineering, and unmatched safety record.

Zero Accidents

In over 40 years, there has not been a single reported accident with the Alum-A-Pole Scaffolding System when our instructions and OSHA guidelines are followed.

Multiple Patented Safety Features

Every product we make is engineered for peace of mind.

Pro-Jack

Features three independent backup safety systems:

Alum-A-Brake

Siding brake uses a secure power lock clamp system and comfortable, fold-up handles to ensure both safety and precision on the job.

Pump-Jack Safety Features

Both designed to help eliminate fall risks and walk-off accidents when working on scaffolding setups.

Materials That Matter

We use high-strength structural aluminum, custom-compounded industrial rubber, and anodized components that resist wear, rust, and discoloration over time. Each component is lab-tested:
